After the Styrian Grand Prix it's time for the third race in a row this weekend. The Formula 1 circus is heading to Budapest for the Hungarian Grand Prix and rain is expected there as well.

The Saturday in Austria was almost cancelled because of the enormous rainfall, but in the end we saw the first rain qualifying in 2020. This could be followed up quickly by a second one, because the weather forecast for the Hungarian Grand Prix is not sunny at the moment.

Rain in Hungary

According to Weather.com, rain is expected throughout the race weekend. On Friday and Saturday it is cloudy all day and the chance of rain is 40 percent. It won't get really warm those days either, because on Friday it's maximum 22 degrees and the temperature rises slightly to 24 degrees on Saturday.

On Sunday it is cloudy with some sun and the temperature rises to a maximum of 25 degrees. Even then there is still a chance of rain and storm, but the chance of rain on Sunday is only 20 percent. To what extent the rain will continue is still to be seen. One thing is for sure, rain races and qualifications are always exciting.
