Sebastian Vettel responds to the rumours about his possible transfer to Aston Martin, which is currently going through life as Racing Point. The rumours that he is going to replace Sergio Perez with the team are getting stronger in the run-up to the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Rumours around Vettel
"Rumours are called rumours for a reason. I have no news & I have already said that it will take some time before I make a good decision. Everything is open. I don't feel pressure to decide quickly", said Vettel at the press conference against German media who are present.
"Nothing that has changed within the week. I said last week that it will probably take some time to make the decision for myself. Everything is still open. Driving next year, not driving next year, not driving any more", the 33 year old German continues.
Loose talk
"I’ve been around for a long time in F1 and you never know. Irrespective of that, I need to make the decision for myself. At this stage it is all talk. The truth is that there is nothing to announce, nothing agreed. Just loose talk", he concludes.
