Perez endures dizziness on his way to fourth

Sergio Perez qualified for the Hungarian Grand Prix in fourth place. A nice result for which he probably would have signed in advance. Nevertheless he had to acknowledge his superior in Lance Stroll, who seemed slower than the Mexican all weekend. However, there is a reason for that.
Perez suddenly didn't feel well during qualifying. "A lot happened on my side. I wasn't one hundred percent physically. For some reason I became very dizzy and sick during the session. It happened suddenly, my neck hurt a bit at first and then I got dizzy on some parts of the track".
Medium tire an advantage?
"I am happy with P4, but I had the feeling that my qualification could have been a bit better and that I could have driven a neater lap [in Q3]. The important thing is that we have kept up the momentum this weekend and have shown a strong pace in every session. If we can show the same pace tomorrow, then we can focus on getting a big result".
Just like teammate Lance Stroll and both Mercedes drivers, Perez starts the race on the medium tire. In the course of the race, this could be an advantage over the drivers who start behind him. Nobody else was able to do so during qualifying.
