Albon and Red Bull under investigation for grid infringement
- GPblog.com
The stewards are going to investigate Alexander Albon's car from Red Bull Racing. This was announced by the technical committee of the FIA during the Hungarian GP. The grid box of the British Thai would have been blown dry before the start at the Hungaroring.
Normally some blowers are used to cool the engine, but Red Bull would also have used them to create more grip for Albon at the start. The starting spots were still wet when the race started at 15:10.
Albon in trouble after Red Bull artificially dried his grid box "by using the engine cooling air of their leaf blowers when using these to cool the car engine."

Referred to stewards. Maybe they thought everyone was watching Verstappen's car.#F1 #HungarianGP
