Ricciardo thinks that Renault is currently faster than Ferrari

Daniel Ricciardo thinks that Renault currently has more speed than Ferrari. This at a time when the team wasn't very competitive yet. In each of the first three races Renault managed to finish in eighth place with one car while the other retired or finished but didn't score any points.
Retrospective on Hungary
Ricciardo finished in the Hungarian Grand Prix just two seconds away from the best-placed Ferrari of Sebastian Vettel who finished sixth. Sergio Perez was behind these drivers.
"Look, obviously eighth is not bad, but I do really feel that we’ve had a bit more speed than an eighth-place car in all three of those races. At least the last two. I feel that we are not far from one of those top five, top six finishes", Ricciardo said to MotorsportWeek.
More points are lurking ahead of Renault
"I feel that we have a bit more speed than Ferrari at the moment. At least it seems so, the race pace is not too bad. So it is coming. It is good to have these the points, but I know there are some bigger ones around the corner", ends the Australian.
