Latifi home debut got postponed a year. "I was really looking forward to that''

Unfortunatelly, all North-American races for this season are cancelled. Williams' Canadian driver Nicholas Latifi will therefore have to wait a while for his home debut in the King's class.
"Unfortunately there will be no Canadian Grand Prix this year," said Latifi in a Twitter message on the Williams channel. "I'm really very disappointed about that. "When I first realised I could race in Formula 1 in my own country, I was really looking forward to it. Canada really has one of the best circuits in the world, more drivers will acknowledge that".
Yet Latifi understands the situation. "This year's calendar looks a little different than normal. Right now we have to do what is best for our health and take responsibility. Luckily I'll also be competing in Formula 1 next year, so I'll get an extra chance", Latifi concludes. The 25-year old Canadian didn't get any points for the English stable this year.
