The constructors' championship was also won by the Austrian racing stable each time. After 2013 Red Bull was overtaken by Mercedes, the team that has been dominating now eversince.

Superiority

"Why does Mercedes show superiority so openly?", Marko wonders in conversation with Auto, Motor und Sport. "In our good years, we didn't try to drive as fast as we could. Bernie Ecclestone would have slowed us down immediately, that has happened often enough already". Back in the day, the Formula 1 boss wanted to make sure that the gap between the teams wouldn't become too big.
