Problems at Ferrari
The engine cover of the Ferrari SF1000 was open all morning and the mechanics had been working hard for a long time. Now the team announces that due to a problem with the intercooler Vettel it will not be in action during the first Free Practice.
Lewis Hamilton had already had a new MGU-K put in his car earlier in the day and is therefore on edge for a penalty. When the British driver gets his third MGU-K in his Mercedes this season, he will be penalized.
We have detected something wrong with the intercooler system on #Seb5’s car so we have to strip the car down and check, to be ready for #FP2. #BritishGP #FP1 pic.twitter.com/ED4Q1UWrbZ
