At McLaren they question the legality of the entire RP20. Racing Point is unhappy about this and takes it out on Zak Brown and his statements.

Racing Point was fined four hundred thousand euros and fifteen World Championship points were deducted by the FIA. However, Lawrence Stroll will be allowed to continue driving the illegal brake ducts for the rest of this season. "This is confusing for the fans. How can something that was not legal in Austria still be on the car?", Brown said.

The CEO of McLaren continues his story: "Around this whole copying, obviously they claimed that they had coped the car via photography. It's clear from reading the document that is BS and therefore you have to question anything else around that car."

At Racing Point, they don't like the story Brown puts up in the media. "So Zak Brown, it is BS, because he's not an engineer. He's got no idea what he's talking about. Zero. And I'm surprised at how little he knows about the rules of F1. It seems to me he knows more about historic racing than he does about F1", Szafnauer tells.
