Bottas: "The mentality now is to try to win it tomorrow"
Valtteri Bottas has trumped his teammate in the battle for pole position for the second Grand Prix at Silvertone. The Finn says he is very satisfied with the result and that it is a good mental boost for him.
Pole position for Bottas
“It feels good. I just love qualifying and especially when it goes well it's a good feeling. Nice to get everything out of myself and out of the car. Set-up wise we made good steps from last weekend - that's why I think the qualifying performance was better than last weekend - so realy pleased with that," says Bottas.
“Of course it is mentally better to start from pole. The starting point for winning the race is good. I think the race pace is there. So, now is the time to get off to a good start. The mentality is to try to win," Bottas ends.
