Vettel gets new chassis in Spain due to later discovered 'error'

Sebastian Vettel will get a new chassis for this weekend's Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix after Ferrari, after last Sunday's race at Silverstone, had found a "small defect" in his car.
While teammate Charles Leclerc already has two podiums inside this season, Vettel already finds it difficult to get points. Head of chassis design Simone Resta confirmed that the difference between the two drivers might have a little bit to do with Vettel's chassis, in which an error has now been discovered.
No big problem
According to Resta, the problem didn't have a very large share of the difference between the drivers: "Sebastian will have a new chassis, because after our analysis of Silverstone's GP, we saw a small error caused by a heavy blow to a kerb," explains Resta to Autosport.com. "It would not have had much effect on performance, but it was the logical decision to take".
