The rumours about the future of Sebastian Vettel seem to get more intense per Grand Prix. Earlier at the FIA press conference, Sergio Perez already said that his position in the team is 'fairly certain'. but the rumors go much further than Vettel's seat in 2021.

Is Vettel going to finish the season?

The German has a very bad season start in which he only scored a quarter of the points total his teammate has managed. As a result, an early exit for Vettel also seems to be on the agenda more and more. The four-time world champion himself does not want to know anything about it. "That's not a problem", he says to autobild.de.

The German medium reports that the names of Nico Hülkenberg and Kimi Raikkonen have already fallen as possible replacements when Vettel ends his Ferrari adventure prematurely. The change could take place before the Belgian Grand Prix if Vettel disappoints again in Spain.

New chassis

This weekend Vettel will start with a new chassis for his SF1000. This should give the driver more self-confidence and reduce the gap with Leclerc, because during the Grands Prix at Silverstone the Monegask was on average half a second faster than Vettel.
