Verstappen: "We're going to make a nice race of it for the viewers at home"

After two triple headers, the teams and drivers finally get a week off before they have to travel to Spa-Francorchamps for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Despite the fact that Verstappen rides under the Dutch flag, he was born in Belgium and also spent his youth there. It is therefore not so strange that the Dutchman sees the Belgian Grand Prix as a kind of home race. Spa-Francorchamps is also his favourite circuit to drive.
This year's race on the classic track will be a quiet one without the fans. "It will be different without my orange fans. Normally there are so many great Dutch fans at the Belgian Grand Prix, I love that", the Dutchman says on Verstappen.com.
Racing for the viewers at home
Despite the corona measures, the Red Bull driver wants to make it a party for his fans. "We're going to try to make it a nice race for everyone who watches TV from home." Verstappen's chances of victory are the only question, because the circuit is normally a track where Mercedes - and previously Ferrari - excels.
