Ferrari has a lot of work to do if they want to be back at the top, because at the moment the team belongs to the middle group. For the legendary Ferrari this is of course a somewhat embarrassing position, because this team should be fighting with Red Bull Racing and Mercedes. The cause of the problem: the SF1000 which is not good at the base, but the Scuderia doesn't want to know about giving up.

A special development

At the Sky Sport F1 microphone, team boss Mattia Binotto has indicated that they will continue to develop the SF1000. They are looking to 2021 as well as the near future and for the next two races Ferrari has upgrades planned. In fact, Binotto calls it something 'special' that they have designed.

"The SF1000 project will not be abandoned, we will bring developments. We have something special designed for Spa and Monza and we are also working on the car for 2021." Clear language so, Ferrari comes with some improvements for the car during the next Grands Prix, but in detail Binotto did not go further.

The goal is clear and that is to improve performance, but that is somewhat obvious. Certainly because at the moment they are not to write about home. Ferrari is not the only one that brings upgrades, Red Bull Racing will also improve the RB16. Especially around the chassis, as Helmut Marko has said.
