Max Verstappen announces in the press conference that he is looking forward to the Belgian Grand Prix. Because the Netherlands is missing this season, Belgium will be his home race for him, even though the Orange Army is missing this year along the track in the Ardennes.
Missing the Orange Army
"It's a shame they're not here. They created a great atmosphere. But I'm glad I'm here. It's a beautiful track. I am looking forward to it", said Verstappen at the press conference prior to the Belgian Grand Prix according to Formule1.nl.
"It's my favorite track, but we're running short of top speed. Mercedes has had a good winter, they have made progress with the engine. That's why we were behind at the beginning, but we're not giving up", the Red Bull Racing driver continued.
Title with Honda
"We've pulled out more than we normally would have. It looks like we're still fighting them, but actually we're not. I believe in a title with Red Bull-Honda. And in 2022 the new rules will come", says Verstappen.
"Everyone keeps talking about the heat, but in Spain we were beaten in the heat. I don't believe in fairy tales", concludes the Dutchman.
