Ticktum may not enter paddock because of unclear corona test
- GPblog.com
Dan Ticktum, a driver for DAMS, is not allowed to participate in the Formula 2 training session at Spa-Francorchamps this Friday. This as a result of an inconclusive coronavirus test.
Also no qualification?
According to RaceFans Ticktum's participation is now in doubt as he awaits the results of another test. It will take place this afternoon at 5PM, more than three hours after the training session. So it is Ticktum's hope that he will get a negative test result back before qualifying starts.
Their other driver Sean Gelael suffered a back injury in Spain two weeks ago. As a result, he is currently recovering for the time being. In his place, the Yuri Vips will race for DAMS and he was still present during practice today.
