Vettel not surprised by slow Ferrari: ''Is this year on every track''

If we have to identify one big loser after the first two training sessions in Belgium, it is clearly Ferrari. Sebastian Vettel, together with Charles Leclerc, are near the back of the pack and the best they can hope for is a points finish at the moment.
Vettel wants to reset after Friday
''I haven't compared it with last year, but of course that's no surprise. It is already the case on every circuit. It was a difficult day for us and the car is just very difficult to drive," Vettel said after the second free practice according to Racefans.net. The German finished in seventeenth place.
''I expect we're not yet where we belong, so we're now looking at the possible options with the setup. We have tried a lot this afternoon, but will reset and try something new tomorrow."
Rain an advantage for Ferrari?
Last year Ferrari came out of the summer break like a cannonball with a brand new engine. Everybody knows by now that there was something illegal on the engine, so all Ferrari-powered teams are now suddenly at the back of the same circuit.
However, there is also a chance that it will rain in Belgium and that could save Ferrari. ''I think we have already seen some glimpses of the proportions in the rain in Austria and Hungary. That will certainly not be easy for us, but it is a chance that the field will be a bit shaken," concluded the four-time world champion.
