Doornbos about Ferrari: "How painful will this be?"

Ferrari hopes that the season will soon be over. The cars cannot be burned ahead in a season in which the team has three home races. Robert Doornbos expects the team to have even more problems at home.
The worst is yet to come
Doornbos does not have a good word for the Scuderia in the programme Crashen in de Keuken by Ziggo Sport: "It is the most embarrassing moment of the Formula 1 calendar. There are three Italian Grands Prix on the calendar. Monza, Imola and Mugello. Ferrari owns Mugello and there they have their 1000th Grand Prix. How painful will this be?"
"The problem is that the car has so much 'drag' that it won't be fast at Monza. The car is not efficient there. Last year they didn't have that problem, because they had a lot of engine power. But that was cheating at the highest level. That advantage is now gone. On high-speed tracks it becomes really painful for Ferrari, the car is a brick," concludes Doornbos.
