Verstappen had to retire due to a problem with his Honda engine
For Max Verstappen, the Italian Grand Prix was one to forget. The Dutchman drove around in midfield after the red flag and before long had a problem with his car. At first, it wasn't clear what the problem was, but after the race, Honda announced it was an issue with the engine.
According to Honda, there was a problem with the engine, so as a precaution the team decided to retire the car. The other team with the Honda engine will be having a big party, as Pierre Gasly won the race, ahead of Carlos Sainz and Lance Stroll.
