F1 LIVE: The second free practice ahead of the Tuscan Grand Prix in Italy
A week after an eventful race at Monza, it is time for the Tuscan Grand Prix. Mugello is a new circuit for Formula 1 and that can make things interesting. However, the question is whether the Italian Grand Prix can be improved upon. You can follow all the action on the track here with the live blog of GPblog.com below.
The Italian GP was a true spectacle. The podium consisted of no drivers from either Mercedes, Red Bull or Ferrari for the first time since 2012. In Tuscany, however, F1 hits a circuit that is unknown territory for many teams. Of course, data will have been collected, but much less is available than for other circuits.

Will we have a surprise in Tuscany?
During the second free practice session, it is important to pay attention to what differences can be seen. Are there teams that cannot manage to find the right setup and which teams are the best without a huge mountain of data? This also plays an important role for the drivers. A crash in practice won't do much good for your confidence.
The second free practice can generally be divided into two parts. The first 45 minutes are all about the qualifying runs. Here the drivers look for the fastest setup for qualifying. In the second part, the teams switch to long runs to test the car before Sunday's race.
