Mol puts Hamilton above Schumacher: 'He clearly got the better stuff'

Lewis Hamilton is about to match Michael Schumacher's records for victories and titles. But is Hamilton as good as Schumacher? Olav Mol even dares to say that Hamilton has already moved on.
At the Eifel Grand Prix, Hamilton can take his 91st victory and match Schumacher's record. At the end of the season the record of seven world titles can be added. However, where Bernie Ecclestone believes that the two are not comparable, Olav Mol does.
Mol chooses Hamilton
''Lewis is almost faultless this year. Again. Isn't that unbelievable? Lewis is under pressure from Valtteri Bottas, but he just can't make it. Strange as it may sound, Hamilton is perhaps underestimated. He does it every time,'' said Mol in conversation with Formule1.nl. According to Mol, Hamilton is already better than Schumacher.
''I clearly put Lewis above Schumacher. Schumacher drove in a period when the FIA had less control than nowadays, there was a tyre war and he clearly got the better stuff. Then you still have to do it and Schumacher was good too, but I think Lewis is above him and he's not even finished yet," concluded the Ziggo Sport commentator.
