Is Perez still going to Red Bull? 'They know I'm available'

Sergio Perez is perhaps the biggest name left on the drivers' market for 2021, but the question is whether he will find a place. He says he is making progress himself, but still nothing has been signed.
Perez must make way for Sebastian Vettel at Racing Point at the end of 2020. A clause in the Mexican's contract gave Racing Point the chance to break the contract so that the four-time world champion could be signed. As a result, Perez is now without a seat and many options are no longer available.
Perez to Red Bull?
''At the moment there's nothing I can say, because I haven't signed anything yet," said Perez at the press conference for the Eifel Grand Prix. The Mexican did indicate 'progress', but does not want to make clear what options are available. ''It will take a little more time. In F1 it's not certain until you've signed."
Haas seems to be the most likely option for Perez, but Red Bull Racing is also still an option. With the underperforming Alexander Albon, Red Bull might need an experienced second driver. However, Perez doesn't want to go into that. ''I'm sure Red Bull knows that I'm available."
