Max Verstappen didn't mind that both free practice sessions were cancelled today. The young Dutchman thinks this will make the race a lot more fun.

Due to the cancellation of the first two free practice sessions, there will only be one hour left for the drivers to practice at the Nürburgring tomorrow. The circuit is unknown to many of today's drivers, Verstappen has never raced around the circuit in F1. So he is expecting a very interesting race weekend.

Verstappen looking forward to the rest of the weekend

"I don't really care," said Verstappen to Sky Sports. "I actually like it that way. It makes the whole weekend more difficult and therefore more interesting." The FIA decided not to let FP1 go ahead because of the thick fog around the track. As a result, the medical helicopter could not take off. For a moment it was hoped that FP2 could go ahead, but there was no racing.

For the drivers, it will be a busy hour tomorrow during the third free practice. Where they normally have several hours to adjust their car and explore the track, they will now have to stuff everything into one hour. Verstappen is in any case looking forward to it.
