Ricciardo: "That's the coolest present I've ever seen"

Daniel Ricciardo jealously watched Lewis Hamilton receive a very special gift from the Schumacher family. With his victory, Hamilton equalled the number of victories Michael Schumacher won.
For Ricciardo himself it was also a weekend to look back on with joy. The 31-year-old Australian achieved his first podium since the Monaco GP in 2018 and also gave his team Renault its first podium since 2011. In addition, the smiling driver is also allowed to design a tattoo for his team boss Cyril Abiteboul, which is the result of a bet between the two.
"We understand that"
Ricciardo says to Autosport.com that he has a lot of respect for Hamilton. "He has been in the sport for over a decade now and it is not easy to keep showing that level of constancy. I think we who are on the podium understand that. You have to do it every time those lights go out. It is said easier than done. I certainly have a lot of respect for him."
Ricciardo would like to add something to the conversation. "The gift he received, one of Michael's helmets, is one of the coolest gifts I have seen in the sport."
