'Vettel only has to walk in and the employees are already more motivated'

Sebastian Vettel will embark on a new adventure with Aston Martin, currently Racing Point, in 2021. At Ferrari this season things haven't been great as the German has struggles, but technical director Andy Green is confident that his team will do better.
Green believes that Vettel's current problems are a combination of a car that does not match his driving style and some mental problems. However, the team from Silverstone are offering a fresh start for the four-time World Champion. They are very proud that a driver with his calibre wants to drive for their team.
A new start for Vettel
"With us he gets the people and the means to return to the level we know and expect of him. And it will help us a lot. If he just opens the door to the factory, it will increase every employee's motivation," said Green enthusiastically in an interview with Auto Motor und Sport.
At Ferrari, until this season Vettel was expected to compete for victory every weekend. In that respect, Green is under no illusions. "That car [Mercedes] is absolutely fantastic. Give us an extra year with these rules and we are as fast as the 2020 Mercedes."
