FP2 Full Results - Mercedes quickest in chaotic session!
After a relatively quiet first free practice, things went completely crazy during FP2 in Portimao. Valtteri Bottas was no surprise at the top of the timesheet, but because of the chaotic session, the rest of the results are a bit jumbled up.
Verstappen second despite crash
The Pirelli tyre test, which forced drivers to drive on prototype tyres for 2021 for the first half hour of practice and the two red flags at the end of the session, meant that no one was able to complete their full programme.
Max Verstappen was one of the causes of the red flag as he crashed into Lance Stroll, but finished the session neatly in second place. Ferrari also came out well this time with a fourth and sixth place.
