Perez refused by two teams: 'But not by Red Bull, I think'

According to the latest news from the circuit, Sergio Perez has knocked on the door of several teams, two of which have already rejected him. It is not yet clear which two teams would be involved.
"He takes a lot of sponsorship money with him. The story is that two teams refused him, because he wants half of that sponsorship money as salary. We think that's a bit crazy", says Jack Plooij at Ziggo Sport.
To Red Bull or not?
"Perez took 25 million dollars to Force India and then he wanted 5 million dollars in salary. Let's not forget that F1 is often a triangular relationship between driver, team and sponsor. In this case he wants half. As a team, you cannot really say anything about that. I think Williams refused him, but I don't think Red Bull Racing did, they're not waiting for the stickers on that car", says Robert Doornbos.
Giedo van der Garde does think that Perez might go to Red Bull. "I've heard something, but of course you don't know if that's true. I have a good feeling that he can go there. And he will fit next to Max Verstappen."
