Toto Wolff says that winning the seventh manufacturer's title in a row still lifts the spirit within Mercedes. The Austrian says that as long as the team remains motivated, they want to continue with Formula 1. Lewis Hamilton won the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in front of his teammate Valtteri Bottas.

Proud of the team

"I'm not so much into the numbers but this is something to be very proud of. We have a group that is great together. We stayed together and tried to raise the bar even higher and we achieved that. It's an incredibly proud moment to achieve this with these people," Wolff said after the race.

"As long as we stay motivated and energetic, we can push even more. We will get competition from Max Verstappen and Honda who are doing a good job at the end of the season," continues Mercedes' team boss.

Problems for Bottas

"I think Valtteri had part of a Ferrari or Racing Point under his car. It was debris that he drove over in the second lap, he couldn't avoid it," concludes Wolff.
