Alexander Albon had an unfortunate race at Imola in this difficult season at Red Bull Racing. At the restart, he seemed to have made up some places by continuing to drive on old tyres. However, the drivers on new rubber behind him immediately went on the attack.

Albon had little grip when they restarted

"It wasn't a good race. It felt like I got hit at the restart," says Albon in front of the Ziggo Sport camera. "We're going to take a look at it. Of course, if you're the first car the drivers have to pass on new tyres, it's hard to keep them behind you.

"You may need half a lap to get the tyres up to temperature, but it was very difficult at the time. It wasn't a bad weekend in some ways and it wasn't a bad race, but we were stuck behind the Ferraris."
