After an excellent result at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, Mercedes have won their seventh world title in a row. According to Lewis Hamilton, it's almost better to win the constructors' title than the drivers' title.

Team sport

"It's almost more exciting to win the team championship. It is a very strange sport in the sense that it is a team sport, but there are two championships because there is also an individual championship," Hamilton said at the press conference.

Hamilton says the core of his job is to deliver points and results for the team. "So if you win a team championship, I think it's almost better than an individual because it's something you do collectively with a large group of people. And while we're on the podium, we're not above anyone."

Christmas party

"You can see that everyone is so happy when they win the manufacturer's title. When we celebrate Christmas with everyone, everyone knows we've done a remarkable job," Hamilton continues. He says that even if he quit Formula 1 now, that's something he can share with a large group of people for the rest of his life.
