Romain Grosjean is working on his final months in Formula 1 and must therefore look ahead to a new motorsport adventure. Where the Frenchman will drive is not yet clear but Indycar is a possibility.
A few weeks ago it became clear that Grosjean would not be extending his contract with Haas because the American team want to have a whole new set of drivers next year. Speaking to Motorsport-Total, the Frenchman admitted he spoke to Marcus Ericsson about the prospects of Indy Car
"I talked to Marcus Ericsson about his time there and he really enjoyed it. He says it's different, but the drivers play a big role in the car, have a big influence."
Formula 1 VS Indycar
"There are teams that are better than others, but everyone has a chance to win a race. And on a day like Imola, when I think Kevin and I drove damn good laps, we are 16th and 17th. That is hard to swallow. I probably want to win races now and have a chance to win races that I can enjoy. So IndyCar is on the menu," the Haas driver concluded.
