Istanbul Park is a favourite amongst fans and drivers. Turn eight is one of Hermann Tilke's most successful corners, but the whole track manages to impress due to its unqiue qualities. Height differences and different types of bends make this a Tilke masterpiece.

Masterpiece in Turkey

Because the Istanbul Park Circuit has not been used for years, the teams and drivers will first want to collect as much data as possible. How do the Pirelli tyres perform on this track? Also, the engine has to be completely adjusted to the wishes of this circuit. Fortunately, the teams have an extra day in comparison to the return to Imola last time out.

After the Grand Prix of Emilia Romagna, Formula 1 is now returning to its original format. After the first free practice, a second free practice will follow and on Saturday there will be one last practice before qualifying.
