Red Bull Racing starts its 300th race weekend in F1. Team boss Christian Horner hasn't missed a single event and looks back on fifteen years of Red Bull Racing history; its highs and lows.

Respect for Mercedes

Horner has had many highlights with his team. Between 2010 and 2013 was the brand's heyday. Four world titles in a row were achieved with Sebastian Vettel behind the wheel. When the V8 era was over in 2014, the team had to swallow a lot. Mercedes took over.

On the Red Bull website, Horner writes in his column: "Winning becomes like a drug, you become addicted to it and when you don't win anymore it hurts. However, our goals remain unchanged. Mercedes has achieved an incredible success with their seventh title. You have to respect what they achieved with Lewis Hamilton."

Only the golden trophies count

Horner goes on to write: "They have set the bar very high and it is a good target for us to aim at. Sport is always cyclical, you have to make sure that you are always on the rise and that you can always take up the fight."

The team boss concludes: "We have all our trophies in the factory and the ones I notice every day are the championship cups. You want to have your name on them and they remain the ultimate goal."
