Vettel and Norris bring custom helmets for Turkish GP
- GPblog.com
In 2020, drivers will be able to experiment with the design of their helmet for the first time. Whereas in recent years a helmet had to remain the same, Sebastian Vettel and Lando Norris in particular are benefiting almost weekly from this relaxation.
Special helmet designs
For the Turkish Grand Prix, Lando Norris and Sebastian Vettel have redesigned their helmets. Vettel has completely adapted it to the #WeRaceAsOne theme of Formula 1. He painted his helmet in the rainbow flag.
The message that is very dear to Sebastian Vettel's heart in these difficult times and which has inspired this design can be found on the top of the helmet:

Norris, on the other hand, as with the previous Grands Prix, has opted for a typical helmet that suits the country. This weekend, the Briton will be wearing a helmet that is largely shrouded in red, but still has some of its characteristic green/yellow colour.
