It was a very difficult qualifying session at Istanbul Park. The track offered little grip in dry conditions and that only got worse in the rain. One of the drivers who initially didn't seem to be bothered by this was Max Verstappen, who starts tomorrow's race in second place.

Verstappen not happy

“When we went out on the inters in Q1, we already had no grip. The track felt much better in Q3, but the inters were terrible for us," Verstappen said after the qualifying session.

“Of course I am disappointed. We can do well in tomorrow's race, but if you are first all the time and you finish second, that's not what you want," the Red Bull Racing driver concludes.
