Bottas sighs: "That was a long race, such a long day"

Valtteri Bottas will want to forget about the Turkish Grand Prix as quickly as possible. Not only because he failed to beat Lewis Hamilton, but mainly because of the extremely difficult race on Sunday. Bottas finished the race in 14th place.
"That was a long race, such a long day," Bottas sighed in conversation with Sky Sports. It was clearly not his day, made even worse when he was lapped by his teammate.
Bottas is disappointed with his first lap
It was all due to the chaos on the first lap, where he spun twice and had some contact. "Obviously in the first lap, everything went wrong. I don’t know was it Danny or someone in the first corner spinning and I was avoiding and I spun as well. Then I had contact in turn nine and then the car was not the same anymore," Bottas said.
That was clearly noticeable because Bottas spun six times in total. "I struggled to stay on track. I couldn’t steer, the steering wheel was [not pointing straight] and there was a piece missing from the front wing. It was a survival run,” he explained afterwards about his poor performance.
