Pirelli boss Isola tests positive for Covid-19

Pirelli boss, Mario Isola has tested positive for coronavirus, following a test in Turkey on Sunday. He will now go into a period of isolation and could now miss the next Grand Prix in Bahrain.

The 51-year-old is showing no symptoms, Pirelli stated in a statement. His close contacts have been informed and tested, from which no new cases have emerged. Pirelli says that Isola is complying with local medical guidelines in Turkey and that he will return to Italy in accordance with all the relevant strict health protocols.

Last week Acting Williams team boss Simon Rosberg also tested positive for Covid-19. Lance Stroll and Sergio Perez are the only drivers to also test positive so far.
