Full results from Bahrain: Albon and McLaren benefit from Perez's bad luck
The Bahrain Grand Prix was won by Lewis Hamilton with Max Verstappen finishing in second place. No surprises in that respect, but behind that the race developed in an interesting way. Especially the battle for third place in the constructors' championship which is now getting even more exciting.
McLaren has small buffer
McLaren in particular is doing good business in this respect with the fourth and fifth place of Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz. Because Racing Point didn't score any points at all due to Sergio Perez's bad luck, the team from Woking has a small buffer heading into the last two races.
Meanwhile, Alexander Albon is doing good business in his fight to keep his seat for 2021. After a difficult start to the weekend, with a severe crash on Friday afternoon, he took advantage of Perez's bad luck. For the second time, he gets to go on the podium.
