Verstappen not surprised by Friday: "George is no slouch"

During the Sakhir Grand Prix the drivers will drive on an abridged version of the Bahrain International Circuit. However, for Max Verstappen this is no reason to adapt many things to his car.
Few changes
"They are small things, including, of course, the wing positions. But because of this you also have to adjust the ride height. If you drive more or less downforce, you naturally get more or less pressure on the car. That's why you have to adjust the ride height," says Verstappen at the Ziggo Sport F1 Café.
Compared to last week's car, however, it hasn't changed very much. According to Verstappen the car has barely been modified. "Because there are only a few corners in it," Verstappen says about the track. The engine setting will not be very different from last week either.
Russell major competitor in Bahrain
George Russell was the fastest driver over a lap on Friday. "That was also to be expected. George is no slouch. And then you see that when he gets into the car, it feels good. That immediately shows that the car is going too," concludes the Red Bull Racing driver.
