Verstappen not interested in talking to Leclerc: "Don't want a bitch fight"

For Max Verstappen, the Sakhir Grand Prix was a good chance to achieve his second Grand Prix victory of the season. However, that chance was already ruined in the first lap by the action's of Charles Leclerc. A week later, Verstappen no longer wants to dwell on that.
When Verstappen is asked at the press conference in Abu Dhabi whether he had the victory taken from under his nose, he says according to Formule1.nl: "You can always say that afterwards. It is what it is. It was very unfortunate, but it can happen".
Leclerc had a different view on the incident afterwards, but Verstappen will not waste any time on that. He doesn't think a conversation between the two of them is necessary. "I'm not interested in that at all. I don't want a bitch fight or anything. I just want to race here."
Verstappen emphasises the importance of further development
Verstappen is not only focusing on next weekend but is already looking at his chances next season. "Nobody knows what it will be, of course, but they [Mercedes] were very competitive this year and next year we will be driving mostly the same car. It's mainly about understanding your car. That's why we kept working on it for so long".
