Vettel happy after six years Ferrari: 'There are always things that don't go well'

Sebastian Vettel had his last year at Ferrari this year. The German had the goal of winning the World Championship, but in the end he never managed to achieve that goal. Next year, Vettel will be driving for Aston Martin, looking for a new adventure. In the last year, things went very downhill with Ferrari and so Vettel's last year with the Italian team was not very spectacular either.
Blick was asked what the last year was like for him with the Italian team. "When you ride for a team for six years, there are always things that go well and things that don't go so well. We go through the crisis together, that's normal. I have also been part of the highlights."
Unlike other years
Before the start of the season, Vettel already knew he would be without a seat in 2021, as Ferrari announced early on that Carlos Sainz will be driving with the Italians next year. "They just did not renew my contract. Of course the signals for the new season from then on are different than in other years. It is even more annoying that the performance was so bad this year."
Vettel can realistically look back on 2020. "We just did not have a competitive car. Sixth place in the constructors' championship probably won't look very good in Ferrari's history books," concludes Vettel laughing.
