Highlights Formula 1 season 2020
“First of all, it's nice that despite everything, we just saw seventeen more races. I also thought it was a beautiful year, with many surprises. The wins of Gasly and Pérez, but also Hamilton's win at Silverstone with a flat tire. fact that Max won in Abu Dhabi was the icing on the cake. Although I have to be honest with you that I don't think Mercedes went full steam ahead at that time," he said in their column in Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf
Lammers does have a clear preference. "I'm going for George Russell. And especially because he gave the answer to pretty much the most frequently asked question: 'Is that Mercedes really that good? Many people also wonder if Max Verstappen would easily win in that car. Well, Russell gave the answer during his one-time outing for Mercedes in Bahrain.
"Although he had a lot of bad luck in the end that race, he showed how important material is. For a real image you would have to put Max in that Mercedes and at the same time Lewis Hamilton in the Red Bull. Is anyone still doubting who will win?"
