Abiteboul leaves Renault: Alpine appoints new CEO

Cyril Abiteboul will leave Renault F1 ahead of the upcoming season. The team will continue under the name Alpine in 2021 and have already announced changes in management. Abiteboul will make way for Laurent Rossi.
Laurent Rossi has been appointed CEO of the new Alpine F1 project. It has also been mentioned that Abiteboul will not return to F1. Rossi's place was initially promised to the Frenchman.
With the appointment of Laurent Rossi, the position of CEO has been filled. Rossi is responsible for F1 and other sports activities and works under the general manager of Renault Luca de Meo. The structure within the new F1 team is not yet known. How Budkowski and the expected acquisition Brivio will fall into this is not yet certain.
