New Red Bull talent inspired by Hamilton and Verstappen

Red Bull Racing never stop looking for young talent. Helmut Marko has his eye on Arvid Lindblad this time. A 13-year-old karting talent from Great Britain.
A passion for karting from an early age
Born British but with Swedish roots. The racing bug was passed on to him by his grandfather. Lindblad was just three years old when he first got on a dirt bike, but it wasn't quite his thing. When he got a go-kart at five, it turned out to be a perfect match.
"I fell in love with karting immediately, the speed and close racing was exhilarating. From this early stage, my passion for karting was ignited and the seed planted for me to push myself to be the very best I could be", Lindblad says in conversation with Red Bull.
Similarities to Verstappen
Like Max Verstappen, the young Brit has a father who was closely involved from the start of his career. "My dad has always been very involved in my racing; in the early stages he was my mechanic in England but once I started racing nationally we moved to one of the more established teams."
At 11, he became British karting champion, having been vice-champion the previous year. The young Briton has two drivers he looks up to, and for a special reason. "My motorsport heroes are Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. Despite both drivers entering Formula 1 at a young age, they both showed fearlessness, tenacity and an uncompromising desire to win despite their inexperience and youth."
