Schumacher handles name well: "I know him, he's anything but cocky"

For Mick Schumacher, he will always be compared to his father. That name may be a burden him, but it has undoubtedly brought him a lot too. Hand Joachim Stuck knows that and thinks that young Mick will be fine if we just give him time.
Stuck himself had a well-known racing father and tells Auto Bild that he benefited enormously from this. All doors opened for him because his father knew the right people. Although Michael Schumacher was unfortunately less actively involved in his son's career, his surname will have had the same effect.
A young driver runs the risk of walking away from his shoes, but Stuck knows that this is not the case with Mick. "I know him. He is anything but cocky. His parents, Michael and Corinna, always had their feet on the ground. The pride you can have with a name like that, Mick has never had it. That also makes it easier to deal with the pressure."
Father Stuck had many female acquaintances
Stuck is convinced Schumacher can become a winning Grand Prix driver, if he's given time. In the meantime, he has to keep smiling kindly when people in Formula 1 tell him anecdotes about his father. Stuck used to do that himself, even though his father was seemingly a bit more flamboyant than Schumacher.
"In the 1970s, many attractive women who were older than me used to come up to me and say, 'Ah, you're Hans's son. He was always so nice'. He must have known them all from somewhere," says Stuck, laughing.
