Domenicali wants to see crowds in the stands again by the end of 2021

If it were up to brand new Formula 1 CEO Stefano Domenicali, we would see fans in the grandstands again as soon as possible. But he himself knows that it is an optimistic thought, the most important thing is that the season starts in March.
The right start in March
"In the short term, we need to make sure that the 2021 season can start in the right way," Domenicali said in conversation with Sky Sports F1. The new CEO praises Chase Carey and his team for the great 2020 season, which consisted of 17 races despite the pandemic.
"I want to be optimistic. I hope that this year is really the transitional year versus the end of the situation, because if this crisis will go a bit longer for sure, this is something that could jeopardise the success of what we are talking about," continued the Italian.
Key target for 2021
Domenicali reveals that they have set an important target for 2021: "But we really hope that within the end of 2021 we are having Grands Prix that are having crowds back again around the grandstand," he concludes.
