Tribute have been flooding in following the passing of Adrian Campos. The former Formula 2 team owner has won a place in the hearts of many people, and the world of motorsport have been paying their respects.
Giedo van der Garde, posted a tweet today thanking Campos for his special character and passion for the sport. “Adrian Campos was not only a special human, he also helped the sport so much.
"A sweet guy, who always wanted the best for you and got the best out of you as a driver! Passionate about motorsport. It's a sad day, rest in peace Adrian,” said van der Garde.

Alonso also thanks Campos
Fernando Alonso, who was discovered by Campos, also expressed his thanks to the motorsport icon, who himself was a racer for a while. Brazilian racer Lucas di Grassi has also spoken about Campos' passing. Captioning a photo of the two of them embracing, di Grassi wrote: “Motorsport has lost a great today. RIP my dear friend Adrian Campos, thanks for everything.”
