OFFICIAL: These are the starting times for all Grands Prix in 2021!
- GPblog.com
There were already rumours that Formula 1 would return to races starting on the hour in 2021 and would also return to 13:00 GMT. That news and the corresponding schedule has now been published by F1.
New times for F1
Formula 1 will return to the old format of starting on the hour in 2021. Liberty Media decided a few years ago to postpone the start by ten minutes to allow for previews, but that did not turn out to have the desired success. In addition, the times will also be brought forward by one hour.
Whereas races in Europe have started at 14:10 GMT in recent years, in 2021 it will be at 13:00GMT. There are a few exceptions in the new timetable. You will have to be in front of the TV at 5am to not miss anything of the Australian Grand Prix and the Grands Prix of America and Mexico will start at 7pm.
