F1 Driver Rankings | Hamilton just ahead of Verstappen, Albon eighteenth
- GPblog.com
Max Verstappen has finished second in the F1 2020 game in terms of rating. With a final rating of 92, he is second only to Lewis Hamilton. The seven-time world champion has been given a rating of 93 and thus also beats his teammate Valtteri Bottas (90).
Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo share fourth place. Behind them, Charles Leclerc completes the top-six. Remarkably, Leclerc was still tied with Vettel when the figures were updated last October. Vettel and Ricciardo have maintained their score of 88, but the young Monegasque has dropped to 87.
Sergio Perez's score (seventh place) has not changed, although Pierre Gasly has moved up to the same level. The Frenchman rose from 84 to 85 thanks to a strong finish to the season. Below that, Kimi Raikkonen, Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris all have ratings of 84.
Other scores:
12. Esteban Ocon (81)
13. Romain Grosjean (80)
14. Daniil Kvyat (79)
14. George Russsell (79)
16. Lance Stroll (78)
16. Kevin Magnussen (78)
18. Alexander Albon (75)
19. Antonio Giovinazzi (71)
20. Nicholas Latifi (70)
The drivers' total scores are made up of separate figures for experience, race craft, awareness and pace. No one managed to reach 100 points, but the 99-point mark was reached by Verstappen (race craft), Bottas (awareness) and Raikkonen (experience).
It is Codemasters' third and final update of F1 2020. Previously the figures were updated in August and October.
