"Two drivers would win in Hamilton's car"
- GPblog.com
There will come a time when Lewis Hamilton decides to stop racing. Gerhard Berger is looking ahead. He foresees a nice battle. According to the Austrian, Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc will fight together for the prizes.
Berger compares Verstappen and Leclerc to two icons from the past at the Italian motorionline.com. "I see their rivalry like that of Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost. Charles is a calmer person inside the cockpit, he drives feeling less emotion. Verstappen instead is very aggressive, a bit like Ayrton. I could not tell you who would win between the two."
Hamilton remains the best
Despite the praise for Verstappen and Leclerc, Berger sees in Hamilton the most complete driver. “Hamilton remains the most complete and competitive in the starting grid. He always knows how to read the situation perfectly and makes the most of his car on every lap.”
According to Berger, Hamilton joins an illustrious rank of Formula One drivers. “I have only seen this quality in Senna and Schumacher. The two of them, plus Lewis, are the strongest drivers who have ever driven in Formula 1.″
